Pizza Day

This morning was exciting, because it was my Friday!  And, I am pumped to be in the greenhouse tomorrow.  The ground is mega hard in there - heavy machinery driving over it as we were building it last summer.  So I'll have to saturate the ground (with my NEW hose), then give it a lot of the day to dry a little, then till, then plant.  Ah, love the process.

Breakfast was Dorset cereal, blueberries, blackberries, skim milk.
The orange today was really good, but too small.  I like giant oranges. I pictured it next to my calculator...because that's what I did all morning, calculations.
I also had 1/2 of a Maple Nut Cliff bar.  It's the first time I've had this and it was SUPER!  I thought the crunchy peanut butter was my fav, but this is pretty close.
No photo of lunch today.  A coworker asked me if I wanted to go to Subway and it sounded really good.  I had a 6" veggie with cheese on wheat.  I always ask for extra hot peppers, then ask for a bit more.

In the afternoon an apple was had.  It was also too small. :)
After work, the gym was a very fine 45 min on the elliptical.

Starving when home, The Shepherd and I ate some chips and salsa - always good!
Then we made pizza's for dinner.  I bought PC ww pizza crust and topped mine with sauce, spinach, orange pepper, mushroom, pineapple, hot peppers, some leftover ham that was in the freezer and cheese!
Before cheese:
After cheese:
I  ate 2/3 of this bad boy.  Pretty awesome pizza.

My mom always brings The Shepherd muffins, and I've been resisting all week.  I gave in after dinner - these are super!  Blueberry Bran.  She just used a Quaker mix and added blueberries, still so moist!  I'm glad there are only 2 left, and glad I didn't try them sooner!
I can't wait for tomorrow.

  2. Ya, the pizza rocks ~ looks so good. My biggest weakness is pizza (could eat it every day without getting sick of it).
Have a GREAT time in yer greenhouse today ~ to say that I am envious, would be an understatement.

  4. I love trying all the different Clif bars--there is still a few I need to try and the maple is one of them--looks good!

Here's what I found for the definition of a strata--"Strata is a bread pudding-like layered comfort food casserole made with eggs, cheese and stale cubed bread." So I guess the layers and the bread consistency classify it as a strata! Thanks for asking! :-)
