Lazy Blogger

Yes, we skipped Saturday.  Sometimes, that's just going to happen.

Despite the snow and rain, Sunday was a good day.  It started with this awesome breakfast of Kashi Toasted Berry cereal, yellow raspberries, blueberries and vanilla yogurt.  I don't see yellow raspberries very often.  Have you had them?  They really taste like the red berries, but they just look cool and cost more..haha.
Then a grapefruit mid-morning.
For lunch I had this awesome egg sandwich.  We were out of cheddar, so I used mozza instead - not as good, or as eye catching as cheddar.
I worked in the greenhouse for a lot of the day.  Got the soil tilled, manure mixed in, and lettuce and spinach planted.  The radishes germinate and mature faster, so I'm waiting a week to get them in.  This is the nasty-ness that was our weather in the morning.  Wet snow, wind...but not in the greenhouse, warm and dry. :)
Thought I'd show you my rototiller.  I love it.  It's a kick ass Honda tiller and makes the soil turn in to powder.  It's self propelled, meaning it takes no work, it moves itself.  I can't imagine my life without this baby.
In the afternoon I ran some errands, worked in the attic (a story for another day) and then we went to The Shepherd's parents for dinner.  No photo.  I just don't want them to know about this blog.  Dinner was great though, lamb roast, roast potatoes, beans and mushrooms, French bread, fruit salad and cookies.  YUM!

The weekend flew by and I was a lazy blogger.  I did try read all of YOUR blogs, but slacked a little yesterday.  On to the week!

  1. I love that you have a greenhouse! Keep us updated.

So, why don't you want your in-laws to know about the blog? And btw...I had a very lazy blogging day yesterday. Sometimes I think, no one is going to want to read about my boring life!

  3. I've had the yellow raspberries before. I find them blander than the red.

Glad to hear you were able to get things started in the grrenhouse despite the bad weather...
