Let the Sun Shine Down!

It was bright and sunny again today!  So great!  I wish I could move my desk outside and type there.  I love the veranda at home for that...sitting with the laptop in the shade on a hot summer day.  If I close my eyes I can just feel it....
Back to reality...
Breakfast: Dorset cereal, blueberries, skim milk.  I like the Super High Fiber better than this Organic Nuts, Fruit and Seeds.  Not that this isn't good, but I miss the sultan raisins and coconut.
Oranges are still tasting pretty good too!  I love the white part between the peel and the orange.  It was really thick on this orange and I stood in the kitchen and ate as much of the white off the peel as I could.
Lunch is a recycled pic from yesterday - I ate the same thing, as we had a lunch meeting.  NOT ready to pull my camera out to photo lunch in front of 25 nosey, gossipy ladies. :)

Ezekiel english muffin with Laughing Cow cheese and cucumber, and the other half of the Campbell's Minestrone soup.
There was an unpictured apple in the afternoon, and some unpictured trail mix from Starbucks munched on in my car on the way to the hair dresser.  I love getting my hair done.  I'm a faithful 7-8 weeks.  Spring is here so I'm a little blonder again, relief.  I feel a lot prettier as a blonde.

I got home late.  The Shepherd had leftovers and I had a big salad of mixed greens, carrots, red peppers and a bean salad mix.  I used the liquid from the jar of beans as the dressing.  I bought these interesting looking spinach patties to try.  Really really good!  I was pleasantly surprised!
After dinner another Peanut Buttery Bar, but not as much as shown here!  Whew!
Mid Week tomorrow!  One day closer to hanging out with The Shepherd, one day closer to grocery shopping (one of my favourite events!) and one day closer to doing some fun, farm work.  Let the sun shine down!

  1. I like the Dr. Praeger products, too. They make a neat sweet potato "pancake" that makes for a quick side on a week night.

Sarah and I are faithful to our 8 week hair appointments, too. Any longer and I start to look like a chia pet!

Looks like the sun went away today. I'm OK with that as long as it's back for the weekend! ;)
