Wednesday's Eats

Thanks everyone for your sweet comments on yesterday's post I really enjoyed reading them and the enthusiasm made my day.  Thanks girls.

The week is dragggggging along.  Good thing for tasty eats.  I wasn't as good at photos as usual....I think my mind was elsewhere!

Breakfast was good, Dorset cereal, blueberries, skim milk.
In the morning I had some cottage cheese and an apple.   There was also a fruit spread in the kitchen leftover from a meeting, so I had a couple servings of honeydew and pineapple.  YUM!  2 fruits I love, but rarely eat.

Lunch was a crappy wrap from Sobeys, no photo...it didn't even deserve one.

In the afternoon I didn't eat.  The icky wrap filled me up, but when I got home, I ate a pictureless handful of peanuts.

Home was fun after work.  I did a lot of weeding in the greenhouse and transplanted about 200 cloves of garlic.  I didn't even know they were out there...I forgot about them last fall and The Shepherd saw them, dug them up and saved them before tilling the raspberry rows.  YAY!

Dinner was good.  2 bbq Yves veggie dogs, 1/2 an Ezekiel english muffing with Laughing Cow cheese.  Like I've said before, I'm a condiment on the side kinda girl, so I had hot peppers, chili sauce and zucchini relish to decorate.  I also had a great side salad of baby romaine, shredded carrots and balsamic vinegar.  Great dinner.

The Shepherd and I both fell asleep on the couch by 8:30pm and crawled up to bed around 9:30.  Had a great sleep.

Hope you all have a fabulous day!

Jess

  2. Hi! I saw your comment on Pancakes N Pajamas about finding Greek yogurt in Canada. Liberte makes a good one, but it's the only one I've been able to find so far. Hopefully someday we'll get Oikos or Chobani!

  5. I find I eat more fruit if it is already prepared for me...such as pineapple, any type of melon and oranges. Guess I'm lazy!! ;)

    Jason says congrats, BTW!
