HAPPY FRIDAY!

It was a Happy Friday.
At breakfast, I discovered the worlds largest raisin.  I think it's really a few mushed raisins, with some cereal, but it was huge!

I bought some new frozen fruit the other day, a mix of peaches, pineapple, honeydew, strawberries and grapes.  It made this pretty pink smoothie with a bit of milk and water.
No bugs in today's salad, and that's good, because this salad was 10 times better than yesterday's.

In the afternoon I ate too much.  It got a bit uncomfortable.  I had this handful of nuts, then about 3 more.  I love them, and when there is a bag at my desk, I can't say no.  Way too many today...it hurt a little.
A bbq dinner was on the menu.  Lamb chops, potatoes and broccoli.  It was so simple and so good.
Lamb chops cooked to perfections.  Thanks Shepherd!
Today was another exciting day.  When we moved into this farm years ago, it was pretty plain, no landscaping, not many trees, no flowers.  We have worked long and hard to 'cozy' up the place.  A few years ago we planted 10 maple trees out in front of the house, and today we planted lilac bushes in between them.  They're small right now (less $), and we're told they may not flower for 3 years, but when they grow and do flower, as the trees show leaves each spring, it should be a parade of colour!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND LADIES!  ENJOY WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING!

I really enjoy seeing what you plant cause I don't have a chance to grow anything at my apartment.
