Not a Weekend Blogger

Back after a long holiday weekend!  I hope it was great for everyone!  I had a great 3 days.  My mom was visiting, we did a lot of farm work, shopping, eating out, super weekend.

I am not a weekend blogger.  I wish I could be, but especially now with shining sun, warm weather and so much to do outside, I just can't do it.

The market was great again!  People are realizing we're back outside and there were a lot of people.  I took a lot more food than I have in the 2 previous weeks and it was gone faster than those 2 weeks!  Here are the photos.  I know they look the same, but I have the same food to sell right now.

I didn't take many food photos this weekend, but mom made a fabulous chicken orzo soup and brought it along.  We had it with the lemon sheep milk cheese I bought a few weeks ago and some smoked salmon and crackers.  Simple and "souper".

I had about 3 or more bowls of this beautiful looking ice cream this weekend!  The sauce is strawberry that I made last summer.
I hope you're all having a great week so far, glad this is a short work week!  Don't forget to enter my Simply in Season Giveaway!

  2. I find it hard to blog when it's nice out, too. Through the week I start my post at work so there's not as much to do later on. Or I just take the computer outside once the sun goes down.

Glad t hear the market was a sell out tis weekend! I was so busy around the house that I didn't make it down. :(

    Have a great one!!

  4. I also don't blog on weekends...unless there is something fantastic I need to share (which there usually isn't!). Love your farmer's market pics...just got some of my stuff this week - table, tablecloths, signage, buckets for items, etc. I think I will be starting the week of June 1. I'm nervous!

  8. I'm totally intrigued by your Wild Leeks. Everything looks fantastic, and I'm with you on being a weekday blogger. I try to post on the weekend but there's too much sunshine to enjoy!

  10. I agree that it is really hard to blog when it is so beautiful outside these days!

To answer your question, I only have one daughter and she's 5. My hubby kind of counts like my 2nd child though. :)

    Have a great Tuesday!

  11. I hear you on the blogging thing! I'd rather enjoy a beautiful day than spend 2 hours trying to make a post! I try to save blogging for the evenings.

I'm glad your produce stand is doing so well! :)

And I don't blame you for not blogging on the weekend. It's hard to blog when you get "real" life to enjoy! :)
