Back to the Work Week

A good regular day.

Breakfast was extra tasty, and I know it was because of the strawberries.  They're almost gone, and it's still 5 days until the market to buy more!   OH NO!
Mid morning I had 1/2 a Cliff bar left in my desk from Friday.
And a banana.
Lunch was boring.  I like this lunch, but my taste buds were craving more.  A salad and a wg english muffin with Laughing Cow Cheese.
A beautiful afternoon Gala apple.  I almost always eat Gala apples.
I threw a bunch of stuff in the crock pot in the morning - lamb stewing meat, canned no-sodium diced tomatoes, beef stock, carrots, mushrooms, s&p.  It turned out to be a great stew!

Served with this Country Baguette that I bought on Saturday.

We had a meeting in our village, and got home around 10pm.  The Shepherd hadn't had dinner, and it's hard for me to watch someone else eat.  So I had some yogurt, Kashi Go Lean and strawberries.
3 more work days until a 4 day weekend and a visit from one of my bff's!!!

  2. I've got some pork ready for the crock tomorrow. Seeing as it's suppose to rain I figured stew would be a good meal.

All my strawberries are gone, too! :(

  12. Your stew looks wonderful! I always get different kinds of apples. It just depends on what I'm feeling--and the price of each apple.
