The market was fabulous! Busy, warm, sunny. It doesn’t get much better.
The market photos:
This is my friend and I at work on Friday. We often dress the same, or very similar, without planning it. Friday was pretty close so we took some photos.
Last night we had an awesome Indian dinner. The samosa’s are purchased from an Indian woman at our market. I just reheated them in the oven. The curry I made, a beef bhuna. Really good. I just chose a website and went for it. It was rainy yesterday, so I had time to cook. I planned on making muffins, but the sun came out so I weeded through the evening. A few more good evenings of weeding, covering potatoes and planting squash, and I THINK I’ll feel a bit caught up!
Hope you all had a great weekend!
Jess
Your red shoes are adorable. I'm sure the truck will come in handy traveling to and from the market. Did you have a good turn out this time? The produce is gorgeous as usual!
ReplyDeleteThis weekend was perfect weather for weeding (at least in the morning). We still have a ways to go. The weeds seem to be coming earlier and stronger this year because it has been so hot.
ReplyDeleteThat curry looks great!
Absolutley LOVE that truck! Its SO you!! Xxxooo
ReplyDeleteah! I love your farmers market pics- I hope you post them every week ;) The truck looks perfect. You need space to carry all your goods. I haven't tried the Brown Rice Carob Squares but they sound yummy. And you're right- quality time together is FABULOUS!
ReplyDeleteyour stand looks gorgeous! I need a famers market that is closer to home! I adore fresh fruits and veggies!
ReplyDeleteMy secretary and I dress alike! its really funny. Makes me think that the more time you spend with someone the more your psychi syncs... kinda like (tmi warning) cycles syncing up.
That is so funny how you dress alike--even down to the shoes! My best friend and I in elementary school would dress very similarly too. We both owned a golden retriever shirt and ALWAYS wore it on the same day by accident.
ReplyDeleteThat Indian food looks amazing. Loving your new truck, too!
ReplyDeleteWow that carob bar looks fabulous, and so does your turkey croissant! I haven't had a croissant in ages! Glad you had a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI love samosas! There is a place in Toronto called Samosa Factory (I think) where the samosas are $0.75 or something ridiculously cheap and they are baked so they aren't greasy! So delicious!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new truck!!
A co-worker of mine and I also dress alike (completely by accident!) It's too funny!
ReplyDeleteI bet a truck is very convenient for hauling things back and forth to the market--and I've always thought trucks are fun! :-) A crossiant sounds SO good right now--I've always wanted to try and make my own!
ReplyDeleteHaha I love that you took photos with your twinsie at work. I could totally go for a carob square right now. My sweet tooth is on fire!
